About the Position
Kopanang Gold Mine is looking for a skilled Lampsman (B6N) to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Lampman certificate and has at least 2 years' experience as a Lampsman. Must have a valid Certificate of Fitness or be able to obtain it.

Qualifications and Experience
Duties and Responsibilities

Grade 10 or NQF level 2 qualification.

Must be in possession of a Lampman certificate.

Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Lampsman.

Computer knowledge will be advantageous.

Demonstrate verbal and written English communication skills.

Must be able to solve problems independently and have sound communication skills with attention to detail and committed to safety.

Must have a valid Certificate of Fitness or be able to obtain it.

Accurate record keeping of all lamp room activities.

Issuing of equipment.

Accurate assessment of lamp room equipment.

Tagging of lamp room equipment.

Responsible for lamp room systems, updating and maintaining.

Supervision of staff, overseeing repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Salary
Salary will be in accordance with the Kopanang Gold Mine Limited Schedule of Salaries.
