Job Description

Kopanang Gold Mine invites suitably qualified candidates residing in the Matlosana Local Municipality, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi and Vierfontein areas to apply for its Internship Programme.

 

The programme is aimed at providing graduates with valuable practical workplace experience within the mining environment, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge, develop industry-related competencies and gain exposure to mining operations.

 

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to enhance their professional development and gain practical experience relevant to their respective fields of study. The internship programme will run for a period of twenty-four (24) months. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be a South African citizen, preferably between the ages of 18 and 35 and unemployed.

  • Provide proof of residence, such as a municipal account or a signed affidavit.

  • Matric /Grade 12 Certificate.

  • Hold a relevant diploma or degree from a recognised higher education and training institution.

  • Have a strong interest in pursuing a career within the mining industry.

  • Be medically fit to participate in the programme and perform the duties associated with the internship.

  • Successfully undergo the required security screening.
