Job Description
Kopanang Gold Mine invites suitably qualified candidates residing in the Matlosana Local Municipality, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi and Vierfontein areas to apply for its Engineering Artisan Development/ Learnership Programme.
The programme is aimed at providing learners with the opportunity to gain practical workplace experience, develop the required technical competencies and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to progress towards artisan trade certification in the relevant engineering trade.
Successful applicants will be placed on a structured training programme for the duration prescribed by the QCTO and MQA requirements. The programme will include the required theoretical learning, practical training and workplace experience components. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the training programme, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable learnership agreement.

Minimum Requirements
-
Be a South African citizen, preferably between the ages of 18 and 35.

Provide proof of residence, such as a municipal account or a signed affidavit.

Be medically fit to proceed underground.

Successfully undergo the required security screening.

Matric /Grade 12 Certificate
-
Minimum of N2 Qualification or Technical Grade 12 Certificate with mathematics, science, relevant trade theory and engineering drawing for the specific Learnership/Trade. (At least 2 of the required subjects must have scored at least 50% pass rate).
